Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Random Picker app. By downloading or using it you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Random Picker on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the Usage Rules of the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app, and you may not reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive its source code except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

What a Result Is — and Is Not

Random Picker produces results using the random number generator on your device. That is good enough for choosing a restaurant, splitting a class into groups or settling who does the washing up. It is not:

• A certified or auditable source of randomness.
• Suitable for gambling, betting, or any draw where money or property changes hands.
• Suitable for prize draws, competitions or lotteries that are legally regulated in your country and require a verifiable method.
• A basis for legal, financial, medical, safety or employment decisions.
• A cryptographic random source. The password generator is a convenience, not a security product — do not use it for high-value credentials.

If a decision matters enough that someone might dispute it, use a method you can prove. We provide no guarantee of statistical distribution, fairness or reproducibility, and we are not responsible for how a result is used.

Free Version and Ads

The free version is supported by advertising, and using it means accepting that ads are shown. Some advanced modes are locked on the free tier; you can unlock one for a single run by choosing to watch a rewarded ad. Watching is always optional — nothing is taken away if you decline, and the free modes remain free.

We do not control which specific ads Google serves. If you see an ad that is inappropriate or misleading, tell us and we will pass it on, but the ad inventory is Google's.

Random Picker Pro

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered on a weekly or a yearly period. It removes banner and full-screen ads and unlocks every decision mode.

• The price and the billing period are shown on the purchase screen before you pay.
• Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price shown for your plan.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple account settings at any time. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy; we cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves.

If a price or a plan changes, the change applies to future periods and is shown to you before it takes effect.

The Lifetime Pro Pass

An earlier one-time purchase called the Pro Pass is no longer sold. If you bought it, it still entitles you to Pro and you do not need a subscription. Use Restore Purchases after reinstalling or moving to a new device to bring it back.

Your Content

The lists you create are yours and stay on your device — we neither store nor moderate them. You are responsible for what you type, in particular for other people's names and any personal information you put into a list.

Acceptable Use

Use the app lawfully. Do not attempt to tamper with the ad or purchase flow, circumvent Pro locks, or use automated means to farm rewarded ads. Do not use the app to run a gambling operation or a regulated draw.

Availability and Changes

We may update, change or discontinue the app or any of its features. Modes can be added, changed or moved between the free and Pro tiers; some settings are controlled remotely so they can change without an app update. Updates are distributed through the App Store and some may require a current iOS version.

Disclaimer of Warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from a decision made using a result the app produced. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it; cancelling a subscription is done separately in your Apple account settings. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these terms. The disclaimer, limitation of liability and any other sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply after termination.

Apple

This agreement is between you and us, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes to These Terms

If these terms change materially, the update appears on this page with a new "last updated" date and is announced in the app's release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
